SelfSpirit is exactly what the name implies. It is the spirit of self. It is what makes you who you are.
It is also the most difficult thing to find, much less understand.
Everyone has his or her own spirit. Each of us has something deep within that no one else can touch. We can manipulate this energy, our selfspirit, to bring about change in ourselves, and very often, in others.
Every living thing carries its own selfspirit. The majority of these creatures, human beings included, never realize the potential of their energies. They live in a state of false contentment, apathy, complacency.
It is, after all, so much easier to accept what can be seen, what is tangible, and what is given to you. Why go looking deeper when you are fed everything?
Those of us who choose to challenge ourselves to search within are often seen as weird, different, untrustworthy, hippies and just plain wrong. These feelings that are sent out to the energy field around us are sometimes not consciously projected. Remember, many people don’t realize that they have an inner energy. Consciously or no, these negative energies affect us all.
Selfspirit, then, is the root energy in each and every living thing. It is what truly defines us all. And we can change our own energies to reflect who we are, even as we grow and learn in each new day. Let’s begin that change.

Hey SelfSpirit friend
I agree whole heartedly with you. I struggle with this thing inside me all the time and have now decided to stop ignoring it and try and figure out what it is that i need to have a relationship with. Its almost like my inner spirit is so fed up with me that its aout to explode if i dont start paying attention.

Welcome
It is my hope that my musings offer you peace and hope. I am doing my best to offer installments on a daily basis.
It is a good thing that you have decided to stop putting your selfspirit aside. Open yourself to it and learn what it has to teach you. I find that I am often surprised by my selfspirit. I think we all are from time to time.
Serenity be yours,
Suite

My real problem is that i dont know where to begin, i am filled with good intention but find the follow through actually paralysing. I thought that by starting a blog i would be able to open myself up and type out all this muddle in my head and now i am frozen again in fear of how i will fail.
But one thing i know more than anything is that this thing inside me urging me to come play is my spirit…its the spirit of a healed, whole, happy me in the future and it wants me to come join them.

Fear of failure is one of the major obstacles that most of us face, whether we’re finding our selfspirit or not. I know it’s one of mine!
The key is to permit yourself to fail instead of becoming self-deprecating and hurting yourself for each failure. The truth of failure is that behind each failure is a small success of truth. You see, if you fail at something, then the truth behind it is that you know what NOT to do in order to succeed. Many times, what not to do is QUIT out of fear of failing.
Take baby steps. Every moment gives us a learning opportunity. Learn. Just as an infant must learn every facet of living, those who search for their selfspirit are learning with every step taken.
The easiest way to fail is thinking that you will. Instead, try to see each possible path and choose the path that your inner energy pulls you toward. Walk that path, don’t run it.
As for my personal spirit journey, I’m still walking that path. There are setbacks and there are successes. I am still a small child with wide-open eyes and a heart full of wonder. And with each passing day, that wonder continues to fascinate and create an awe within me that I cannot suppress – leading me continually forward on my selfspirit journey.
Serenity be yours,
